Established in 1948, the Greyhawks have trained generations of airborne early warning crews and evolved with every variant of the Hawkeye from the E-2A through the cutting-edge E-2D Advanced Hawkeye, which now includes aerial refueling capability. After 9\/11, VAW-120 launched aircraft in direct support of homeland defense, providing airborne surveillance along the East Coast.
